You’re a dedicated healthcare provider focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

You know you want to improve your team's resuscitation readiness and patient outcomes. And you’re committed, diligent, and always striving for excellence. So what GIVES?

It can feel like an uphill battle at times because you’re more than willing to DO THE WORK. But the resources just aren't there…

Fact is, there are just some things you can’t tackle alone, like ensuring consistent, high-quality emergency response training with your team.
No matter how many times you ask, you still get inconsistent training or lack of hands-on practice, making the problem worse.

You need structured support and expert guidance to excel. That's where CodePRep™ steps in, providing the necessary training and resources to empower your team to confidently own the first few minutes!

Nurses and healthcare teams, I hear you.
In case we’ve never met, let me tell you a little about me…

I’m Dr. Susan Davis, and I know how it feels to worry about responding to a cardiac arrest or medical emergency.

As a critical care nurse and a paramedic with experience in cardiac, trauma, and resuscitation, I have witnessed the critical moments that can make or break a patient’s survival (or your confidence).

I’ve developed CodePRep™, a resuscitation training program that bridges the gap between compliance and practical application, ensuring healthcare teams are truly prepared when it matters most.

We have successfully collaborated with multiple healthcare institutions to implement this program, leading to measurable improvements in resuscitation response times and patient outcomes.

Let’s work together to empower your team with the skills and confidence they need to respond without hesitation.

CodePRep™ was founded because we saw a critical need for training that truly prepares healthcare teams for real-life medical emergencies.

Here’s why we decided to offer this support:

  • Empowering Healthcare Providers: We wanted to create a program that goes beyond compliance and ensures healthcare professionals are confident and competent in their resuscitation skills. This is crucial for building self-efficacy and improving patient outcomes.
  • Bridging Knowledge and Practice: There’s often a disconnect between what is taught in life support courses and what happens during real clinical emergencies. CodePRep™ bridges this gap with hands-on, practical training that prepares teams to master the first few minutes of a code.
  • Building a Culture of Excellence: By fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, we can create healthcare environments where every team member is ready to act effectively during a cardiac arrest. This benefits not just the patients but also builds personal leadership and trust within your team.

The Rescue RN Team has helped 1,000’s of nurses and healthcare professionals elevate their resuscitation readiness to levels they’re genuinely proud of without the usual stress and uncertainty that often accompanies traditional life support classes.

The joy is in the journey – we love hearing about lives saved, achieving shock times within the gold standard of 2 minutes or less, and seeing the impact our training has on the pride of my posse. There is compliance education, and then there is CodePRep™, which goes beyond, to ensure readiness and response excellence.

Don't take our word for it...

"This program was a fun way to reinforce skills we learn in AHA classes, which can be stressful. I feel more units could benefit from this program. It makes our floor feel very ready at all times. It was very helpful to me because I am only BLS-certified. It made me more confident in my ability to jump in if needed."

"Before CodePRep, I was really scared to be in an actual code. Now, after practicing, I feel better and think I should be fine."

Medical Surgical RN, Lee Health

"Amazing program, especially for new nurses who have never participated in a code before. It made me feel more comfortable and more prepared. I think having these drills at least once a month will keep us all prepared when the time comes."

Medical Surgical RN, Lee Health

"I found this to be very helpful. It lets you know your problem areas (not deep enough/too deep not fast enough/too fast) & it helped improve communication. I don't know about anyone else, but it was very helpful to me b/c I’m only BLS (I’m the rehab tech that did it the first day - 100’s all the way across - woop woop! -it made me more confident in the ability to jump in if the need arises."
